Seminar On Voice over IP

Voice over Internet Protocol (Voice over IP, VoIP) is a family of Internet technologies, protocols and communication methods for transmitting voice and multimedia sessions over IP (Internet Protocol) networks like the Internet. Other common terms, often synonymous with VoIP is a voice over IP, Internet telephony, broadband (VoBB), the service to broadband and broadband telephony. Internet telephony refers to communications services, voice, fax, SMS and / or voice messaging applications that are transported via the Internet and public switched telephone network (PSTN). Steps is a VoIP call signaling and media channel settings for the digitization of analog audio signals, coding, packetization and transmission of Internet Protocol (IP) packets over a packet network. The receiving side, similar measures (usually in reverse order) as the reception of IP packets, packet decoding, and digital-analog conversion to reproduce the original voice flow. VoIP systems through the session control protocols to control the creation and dismantling of calls and audio codecs that encode the word that allows the transmission over an IP network such as digital audio via an audio stream. The codec used is varied between different implementations of VoIP (often a number of codecs used), some implementations are based on narrow band speech and compressed, while other codecs support high-fidelity stereo.
