A conference or video conference (also known as videoteleconference) is a set of interactive telecommunication technologies which allow two or more locations to interact via two-way video and audio transmissions simultaneously. Has also been called visual collaboration and is a type of group work. Videoconferencing differs from videophone in that it is designed to serve a conference rather than individuals. This is an intermediate form of video telephony, was launched commercially by AT & T during the early 1970s by using their telephone Image Technology.
