Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems (including most radio and television, digital delivery systems) to send unsolicited messages interchangeably. Although the most recognized form of spam is spam email, is the term applied to similar abuses in other media: instant messaging spam, Usenet newsgroup spam, Web search engine spam, spam in blogs , wiki spam, spam ads online mobile phone messaging spam, Internet forum spam, junk fax transmissions, spam, social networks, television commercials and file-sharing networks spam. Spamming remains economically viable because advertisers have no operating costs of managing their mailing lists, and it is difficult to hold senders accountable for their mailings. Because the barrier to entry is so low, spammers are numerous, and the volume of unsolicited mail has become very high. In 2011, the estimate of spam messages about 7,000 billion dollars. Costs such as lost productivity, and fraud for the public and ISPs who are forced to add extra capacity to cope with the deluge. Spam is regulated in many countries.
